The little bag

To curb the flood of plastic bags, the Environmental Protection Department of the City of Gütersloh Have a reusable bag designed – the “Gütsel-Täschken”.

The design: black with colored prints of 34 typical East Westphalian terms from the dictionaries. Pölter, Plörre and Pinöckel – from Bollerbuxe to Hasenbütterken to Schlürschluck.

The pouches are made from 100% recycled PET bottles (polyethylene terephthalate) and thus provide an exemplary model for the sensible reuse of plastic waste.

At the same time, they themselves can be returned to the recycling loop: they are fully recyclable.

Very practical: The little bag can be folded or crumpled, so it fits in any handbag or jacket pocket.

It can carry heavy loads – up to 10 kilos!

It can be comfortably carried over the shoulder, yet it does not touch the ground when held by the hand.

The small sewn-on pouch, into which the larger one can be folded or cuddled, also serves as an inner pocket when the larger one is in use.
