Joachim H. Peters , born in 1958, worked for the North Rhine-Westphalia police for 45 years. He published his debut crime novel in 2009. "It's Beautiful to Die on Norderney" is his 25th crime novel and the 14th case featuring Detmold private investigator Koslowski. A self-confessed Norderney enthusiast, he lives in Oerlinghausen in the Lippe region and, in addition to his writing, is also active as a cabaret artist, actor, and television presenter.
